If you have noticed gaps in our collection or would like to extend promotions of your property, destination or attraction and have the necessary rights in place to distribute them for non-commercial tourism related purposes, VisitBritain would like to hear from you. VisitBritain Shoot Management - 25/01/2013
Over the last decade, VisitBritain has commissioned hundreds of photo shoots and has worked with strategic partners, accommodation providers, attractions, and destinations throughout the UK to build a specialist collection of high quality marketing imagery.
With over 50,000 images showcased online and a further 500,000 archived transparencies, we pride ourselves on having one of the most unique photographic collections covering Britain and British life.
We continue to refresh our collection annually as well as offer our skills and knowledge to any tourism related businesses whose aim is to create high quality promotional imagery.
VisitBritain offers a full shoot management service from initial concept through to post production. This service includes a dedicated Photographic Manager or Art Director who will oversee the entire shoot and arrange photographers, models and necessary contracts as well as provide professional art direction to ensure high quality shoots are delivered on time and within budget.

Changes to Press and Media access - 09/01/2013
Since the re-launch of VisitBritain Images in November 2012 we have looked at how we can improve press and media access.
Once registered and logged in, the easiest way to access and download images available to press and media is via the searchable galleries or via the gallery links on the dedicated landing page accessed via the homepage or 'Quick Links' tab on the menu bar.
Changes have been made to enable users to search the 3,500 images available to download free of charge only via the main search box on the top right hand corner of the site. All results that are returned will be available to download.
If you cannot find what you are looking for please take a look at VisitBritain's media centre where there are further images available to accompany tourism related stories and features.
Alternatively, if you would like to use images from VisitBritain's wider collection these may be purchased from www.britainonview.com.
